On Thursday, September 15, the Elwyn community celebrated a ceremonial ribbon cutting in honor of the opening of the Addison Hines Children’s Residential Treatment and Learning Center (CRTLC).

Jim Sebra, who has served as an Elwyn board member since 2018, has been appointed the organization’s Board Chairperson.

On behalf of Elwyn, its employees, and Board of Directors, I am proud to join our communities once again across the nation to celebrate Juneteenth. This Juneteenth marks the 157th anniversary of the date when enslaved people in Texas finally received word that President Lincoln had signed the Emancipation Proclamation more than two and a half years earlier.
